24 Japanese entities eye boosting investments in SCZONE

Arab Finance: 24 Japanese companies and organizations are looking forward to investing in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), as per a statement on September 2nd.

This came during a meeting between Chairman of the SCZONE Waleid Gamal El-Dein and a Japanese delegation led by the Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO).

The two sides probed cooperation in the field of green fuel and its feeding industries.

The Japanese delegation included representatives from energy companies, as well as JETRO, the Egyptian-Japanese Business Council (EJBC), the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The meeting touched upon potential cooperation opportunities to boost the firms’ investments in the zone in the fields of renewables, green fuel, and other industries.
