Egypt inaugurates 1st factory for wearable mobile accessories

Arab Finance: Egypt has opened Infinix’s Silicon Valley factory for wearable mobile accessories, the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) stated on October 3^rd.

The factory is located in the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone in Ain Sokhna.

Three production lines for the manufacturing all of wearable mobile accessories, including smart watches and airpods, are set to produce 9,000 pieces per day with a total investment of EGP 25 million.

The factory also manufactures all accessories for the giant Chinese Transsion Holding, according Silicon Valley’s Chairman.
