Egypt raises fuel price; diesel prices remain unchanged

Arab Finance: Egypt’s Fuel Pricing Committee has decided to raise fuel prices by around 70 to 125 piasters, as per a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

The price of the 80-octane gasoline increased to EGP 10 per liter from EGP 8.75, while the price of the 92-octane gasoline rose to EGP 11.5 per liter from EGP 10.25.

Additionally, the price of the 95-octane gasoline has been increased to EGP 12.5 per liter from EGP 11.5.

On the other hand, diesel prices remained unchanged at EGP 8.25 per liter.

The decision came into effect as of Friday, November 3^rd.
