Arab Finance: e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments has signed a cooperation protocol with IBM Egypt to promote Egypt’s financial inclusion and digital transformation strategies, as per an emailed press release.

Under the protocol, both firms are set to provide advanced digital solutions to the country’s banking sector, depending on the artificial intelligence (AI) and data platform IBM Watsonx.

This is in addition to IBM’s consulting services for designing and developing the services and systems offered via the platform.

Moreover, the two companies will execute the infrastructure development works as well as develop key software, digital operation systems, and a cybersecurity system.

In addition, they will manage the platform, allowing financial banks and institutions to access it, with the aim of pushing forward the country’s digital banking services.
