Arab Finance: The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has purchased 420,000 metric tons of wheat in an international tender, Al Arabiya reported.

The amount will be received in two shipments; the first slated for delivery from January 10^th to 20^th, while the second will be delivered between January 21^st and 31^st.

In October, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhy said that Egypt’s wheat reserves are sufficient for 4.7 months.
