Arab Finance: Schneider Electric has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the real estate developer Redcon Properties to integrate AVEVA’s advanced software solutions into Redcon’s Golden Gate sustainable real estate project in New Cairo, an emailed press release stated.
Under the MoU, Schneider Electric will integrate AVEVA software solutions into the processes of managing Golden Gate’s systems and utilities, as it will provide the project with AVEVA Unified Operations Center, allowing secured control of all operations.
Moreover, Schneider Electric will offer a system that enables the integration of more facilities and operations, in addition to enhancing the operation of resources and ensuring their availability around the clock.
“By expanding our partnership with Redcon Properties, we reinforce the joint efforts to create smart, sustainable, and efficient administrative buildings in Egypt as we aspire to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the infrastructure of both existing and future smart buildings,” Cluster President of Schneider Electric Northeast Africa and Levant Sebastien Riez said.
“Deploying AVEVA advanced software bolstered by IoT and data analysis, contributes substantially towards enhancing central control to achieve operation flexibility, reduce energy consumption and cut carbon emissions to net zero emissions,” AVEVA’s Vice President in the Middle East and Africa Nayef Bou Chaaya commented.
