Arab Finance: The Commercial International Bank Egypt (CIB) has selected IBM’s technology to integrate its services from branches, digital channels, mobile and internet banking, interactive voice response (IVR), business processes, and customer relationship management (CRM), an emailed press release showed.
This service integration is part of the bank’s strategy to achieve digital transformation and upgrade its IT infrastructure.
Under this partnership, IBM will provide varied services by using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration via Red Hat OpenShift platform, which connects applications and data.
IBM seeks simplicity in version maintenance, dynamic expansion, service governance, and discovery, allowing the CIB to offer a flexible banking environment to boost efficiency and productivity.
“IBM brings deep technology, industry and domain expertise to help CIB apply AI to deliver meaningful business outcomes beyond improved productivity and efficiencies to better experiences and new business models,” IBM Egypt’s General Manager Marwa Abbas commented.
