Schneider Electric considers clean energy cooperation plans in South Sinai

Arab Finance: Schneider Electric is mulling over the execution of a number of vibrant projects in South Sinai over the coming period, as per an emailed press release.

The potential projects include extending the provision of electricity to Bedouins, water extraction, and expansion in setting up greenhouses via using solar power.

These efforts come under the company’s framework to develop local communities.

The possible plans were discussed by the Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda in a meeting with officials from Schneider Electric to boost cooperation in the clean energy field.

The meeting tackled several proposals, including establishing a technological and solar power solutions training center and achieving sustainability at Sharm ElSheikh City Council.
