German ThyssenKrupp, Delta Fertilizers cooperate for urea, ammonia factories renovation

Finance: Delta Company for Fertilizers and Chemical Industries, affiliated with the Chemical Industries Holding Company (CICH), has signed a cooperation agreement with the German ThyssenKrupp Group to rehabilitate and operate the former’s urea and ammonia factories, according to a statement by the Ministry of Public Business Sector.

Under the agreement, the factories, which were shut down for years, are set to see an increase in their production capacity to a maximum of 1,400 tons per day.

The agreement also stipulates raising the efficiency of other production units, including external and central utilities.
