Arab Finance: Egypt’s Samcrete Engineers and Contractors (SMCS) will sign water treatment contracts worth SAR 3 billion with the Saudi engineering firm Sarh Attqnia before the end of the first half (H1) of 2024, Samcrete’s Chief Business Development Officer Refky Kamel told Asharq Business.
The move is part of Samcrete’s strategy to expand abroad and diversify its foreign currency resources, Kamel said.
He noted that the Egyptian firm is currently completing its ongoing $1 billion projects in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Madagascar.
