Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir met with the Turkish Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ibrahim Burkay to discuss the possibility of establishing an industrial zone in Egypt, the Egyptian ministry stated on February 13th.
The zone will be specialized in the fields of textiles, cars, aluminum, machinery, equipment, and advanced technologies, similar to the existing industrial zone in the Turkish city of Bursa.
Ibrahim pointed out that the Bursa Chamber of Commerce seeks to benefit from the great advantages offered by the Egyptian government to boost investments.
The project will be an export hub from Egypt to the markets of Europe, the US, the Arabian Gulf, and the North African markets.
