Egypt releases $12B worth of goods YTD

Arab Finance: The Egyptian government has released goods worth $12 billion at ports year to date, as per a cabinet statement.

In February, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly directed the government to set a plan for the gradual customs release of goods at ports.

Madbouly stated that top priority would be given to food commodities, medicines, and fodder, which are valued at $1.3 billion.
