EFG Foundation signs agreement to implement development projects in Luxor’s Al-Deir village

Arab Finance: The EFG Foundation for Social Development (EFG Foundation) has sealed a tripartite agreement with Luxor Governorate and University's Faculty of Fine Arts to execute development projects in Al-Deir village affiliated with the Esna Center in Luxor, an emailed press release revealed.

Under the agreement, a new project will be implemented to develop the entrance to Al-Deir village in Esna.

The project covers designing and executing murals decorating the facades of 19 residential buildings.

Furthermore, the agreement comprises a collaboration with Luxor University's Faculty of Fine Arts to organize an art competition.

“The signing of this protocol is a vital step in our ongoing strategy to foster holistic development in the villages and cities of Upper Egypt utilizing the trusted integrated methodology that we have adopted in the region for the past several years,” Group Chief Sustainability Officer of EFG Holding and CEO of the EFG Foundation Hanaa Helmy said.

“It is through these cohesive alliances that we can effectively address the multifaceted challenges facing our communities,” Governor of Luxor Mustafa Elham commented.
