Supply ministry introduces online portal for commercial register updates

Arab Finance: The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, through the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), has launched an electronic portal aimed at facilitating the updating of commercial register data for companies and economic entities, as per a statement.

Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhy has issued a decree allowing a six-month grace period, starting from April 15th, 2024, for registered establishments and companies to update their information.

ITDA’s Head Ibrahim Ashmawy confirmed that the portal's services are provided free of charge. He urged registered entities to swiftly update their data, emphasizing the importance of accurately specifying their main economic activities according to the provided guide.

Accessible via this link, the electronic portal enables users to view associated companies, verify current economic activity codes, specify primary activities, and review specific requirements for each activity.

The portal aims to simplify the updating process, offering a user-friendly interface. Clients can register on the website and access the "My Companies" section to submit requests for updating establishment activities.

Furthermore, a complimentary data update service is available through WhatsApp, with the commercial register's automated assistant at 01063333504.
