Arab Finance: Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat has witnessed the graduation ceremony of nine startups under the second stage of the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) program, as per a statement.
Implemented in collaboration with the British Embassy and the business incubator Flat6Labs, this initiative is part of Egypt's international partnership with the UK, aimed at providing £10 million in technical assistance to support climate action startups in 10 countries.
Al-Mashat underscored the importance of these startups in confronting climate change across various sectors, such as agriculture, energy, transportation, industry, waste management, and gender equality.
Additionally, the Ministry of International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Ministries of Environment and Communications and Information Technology, launched the international competition "ClimaTech Run" to promote innovative solutions for climate action and environment protection.
This initiative aims to raise awareness of climate change and foster sustainable solutions through technology and digital art.
