Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has followed up on all logistics and technical arrangements for the upcoming Egypt-EU Joint Investment Conference, according to a statement on May 26th.
The conference will be held in Cairo from June 29th to 30th.
Representatives from the private sector have been assisting in the preparation for the conference meetings, Madbouly highlighted in a cabinet meeting.
For his part, the Cabinet’s Spokesperson Mohamed Elhomosany said that BCG, the conference technical partner, presented plans of business-to-business meetings for the private sector during the upcoming Egypt-EU Investment Conference.
These meetings are set to tackle investment opportunities and strategic partnerships, Elhomosany added.
During the cabinet meeting, GAFI officials also unveiled that a comprehensive media coverage plan is being developed, Elhomosany noted.
This plan will include an invitation for major international media outlets to attend the awaited event in June, he pointed out.
Attendants of the meeting also identified the sectors to be discussed along with the Conference themes, including industrial, logistics, renewable energy, green hydrogen, food, and water, among others, he noted.
Several deals and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the Egypt-EU Investment Conference, Elhomosany said.
