Arab Finance: Egypt is set to showcase appealing investment opportunities in several key sectors during the joint investment conference between Egypt and the European Union (EU), Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced during a virtual meeting with over 200 international investors, representing 110 companies.
The conference is scheduled to take place on June 29th and 30th.
Madbouly pointed out that these opportunities are open to both Arab and foreign investors.
He added that the industrial, agricultural, communications, information technology, and tourism sectors will receive substantial attention in the coming period, given their critical roles in driving the country’s economy.
Furthermore, he revealed that the government seeks to increase the private sector’s contribution to the national economy to 50% in 2025 and 65% over the coming three years.
It is worth noting that the meeting was held with investors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK, South Africa, and other countries.
