Arab Finance: Raya Holding for Financial Investments (RAYA) signed a partnership agreement with the develoPPP program, affiliated with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), to launch new programs to support entrepreneurs in the Egyptian market through the business accelerator Raya FutureTECH, GIZ Egypt announced on March 2nd.
As per the partnership, new programs to support startups and entrepreneurs will be introduced, including business accelerator courses, hackathons, and programs to build on emerging business expansions.
“We are pleased to cooperate with Raya Future TECH to support start-ups and provide entrepreneurs with specialized consultations and the resources needed to enable their growth and expansion,” Jonas Naguib, Head of Private Sector Development at GIZ Egypt, said.
For his part, Ahmed K., CEO of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, said: "The cooperation will support more start-ups, especially those operating in our extensive areas of expertise, achieving mutual benefit for the start-ups and Raya’s subsidiaries as well.”
Established in 1999 and listed on the EGX in 2005, Raya Holding is an Egypt-based company that operates within the software and services sector, focusing on information technology consulting and other services.
