Arab Finance: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has ratified amendments on some provisions of the income tax law, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on June 20^th.

This is in addition to amendments on some provisions of another law to cancel the exemption of income tax on yields of treasury bills, bonds, or capital gains resulting from such bills and bonds.

The president has also approved an amendment to some provisions of the stamp tax law to impose a state’s financial resources development duty.

Another amendment was endorsed on another law to levy a tax on entering theatres and other entertainment places.
