Egypt, Sanofi mulls cooperation in hereditary diseases detection field

Arab Finance: Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar has met with representatives of the healthcare firm Sanofi to probe cooperation in the field of detection and treatment of hereditary and rare diseases, according to a statement on August 6^th.

The meeting touched upon cooperation opportunities between both sides to back the presidential initiative for the early detection and treatment of hereditary diseases.

It also featured potential cooperation to push forward the field of clinical research, with the aim of promoting drugs.

This is in addition to the possibility of collaborating with the Egyptian Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the field of the localization of medical diagnostic analyses related to hereditary and rare diseases.
