El-Sisi, AIIB’s President discuss developing countries' economic challenges

Arab Finance: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun in Sharm El-Shiekh to review all the economic obstacles of the developing countries, the Egyptian presidency stated on September 25th.

Liqun thanked Egypt for hosting the AIIB’s meetings, which are being held for the first time in Africa.

He also expressed interest in further strengthening the AIIB’s investment portfolio in Egypt.

This came on the sidelines of the eighth annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) being held in Sharm El-Sheikh on September 25th and 26th.
