Arab Finance: The Egyptian Cabinet has approved a draft resolution on the establishment of an electronic system for clearing and financial settlements, as per a statement.
The Ministry of Finance will issue a statement stating the executive procedures of that resolution.
The cabinet has also endorsed a presidential draft decree on Egypt’s membership of UNESCO’s Revised Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Diplomas, and Degrees in Higher Education in the Arab states.
The country’s membership enables students holding certificates from Egyptian universities to have their degrees recognized by the member states.
Furthermore, the cabinet has accredited a draft resolution on issuing the executive regulations of Law No. 12 of 2022 on the establishment of an Egyptian Health Council to enhance healthcare services.
Additionally, it has authorized the Minister of Finance to issue silver commemorative coins worth EGP 5 and EGP 10 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the victory of October War.
This is along with assigning the Public Treasury and Mint Department to issue EGP 1 and EGP 0.50 coins carrying the slogan of October War victory.
