Cabinet reapproves Panda bonds issuance in Chinese market

Arab Finance: The cabinet has reapproved issuing three-year Panda bonds worth $500 million in the Chinese market, extending the issuance’s period until the end of fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024, as per a statement on October 4^th.

This move comes within the state’s strategy to diversify sources of financing.

It has also assigned the Public Treasury and Mint Department to issue commemorative coins, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, on the occasion of reopening the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria.
