Egypt, Germany mull fostering economic ties

Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait has met with his German counterpart Christian Lindner to probe bolstering relations in the economic, investment, and monetary and social policies fields, as per a statement.

Maait noted that the government is looking forward to attracting further German investments into Egypt in the area of green hydrogen and liquefied gas production (LNG), with the aim of localizing the industry in the country.

This could contribute to promoting the industrial sector, create further job opportunities, and enhance livelihood, Maait added.
