Turkish firms mull expansion in Egypt in several sectors

Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry has met with representatives of several Turkish companies in the fields of ready-made garments, textiles, furniture, real estate, paper tissues, and food products to mull bolstering their investments in Egypt, a statement showed.

The firms include LC Waikiki, Hayat, T&C Garments, and Kervan.

Moreover, Samir held a meeting with the CEO of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSiAD) to discuss 152 investment opportunities in Egypt, including polyester and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

TÜSiAD’s member companies could be offered investment incentives, including free plots of lands to implement their projects and tax exemptions for up to 10 years.
