Arab Finance: The Egyptian government is planning to issue JPY-denominated bonds worth $500 million before the end of November, Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait told Asharq Business on October 22nd.
This marks the country’s second issuance of Samurai bonds after issuing JPY 60 billion ($500 million) Samurai bonds back in 2022.
On October 16th, Egypt issued Panda bonds worth around $500 million in the Chinese market.
