EGYFERT reports 76% loss decrease

ArabFinance: Samad Misr - EGYFERT (SMFR) reported a 76% Year on Year decrease in its consolidated net profit in Quarter one (Q1) of 2020, according to the company's June 15th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Consolidated net loss reached EGP 229,711 in Q1 2020, compared to EGP 965,689 incurred in Q1 2019.

Standalone net loss stood at EGP 11,969 in Q1 2020, compared to EGP 755,279 incurred in Q1 2019.

The company earlier canceled the profit distribution for 2019.

EGYFERT is an Egypt-based shareholding company engaged in the agricultural products trading and distributing sector. It is specialized in export, import, and general trading of different types of agricultural fertilizers, chemicals, and other related products, as well as investing in other companies in the same field.
