El Nasr for Manufacturing posts 26% loss decrease

ArabFinance: El Nasr for Manufacturing Agricultural Crops (ELNA)  reported a 26% Year on Year decline in its net loss in Quarter two (Q2) of 2020, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Net loss stood at EGP 925,864 in Q2 of 2020, compared to EGP 1,257,797 achieved in H1 2019.

The company received an offer from Sohag Housing And Development Company to purchase Sohag plant’s land.

Sohag Housing offered to buy the 64,000 square-meter land plot for a total amount of EGP 650 million.

Sohag governorate issued a demolition license of the company plant in west Sohag.

The listed company is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the food processing sector. It is primarily engaged in the dehydration, distribution, and export of agricultural crops, including onions and other vegetables. The company is also engaged in the manufacture and export of dehydrating equipment and machinery.
