El Nasr postpones payment due from Sohag land buyer

ArabFinance: El Nasr for Manufacturing Agricultural Crops (ELNA) approved a request from Sohag Housing and Development Company to postpone paying the first instalment of the former's Sohag land value to October 20th, according to the company’s September 21st statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

In July, El Nasr received an offer from the housing company to purchase its Sohag plant’s land.

Sohag Housing offered to buy the 64,000 square-meter land plot for a total amount of EGP 650 million.

The listed company is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the food processing sector. It is primarily engaged in the dehydration, distribution, and export of agricultural crops, including onions and other vegetables. The company is also engaged in the manufacture and export of dehydrating equipment and machinery.
