Ataqa posts 62% profit decrease

ArabFinance: Misr National Steel (Ataqa) reported a 62% Year on Year decline in its net profit in the first nine months of 2020, according to the company’s November 12th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.
Net profit stood at EGP 20,244,909 in the January-September period of 2020, compared to EGP 53,168,064 achieved in the prior-year period.
The company posted a net profit of EGP 13,730,259 in Quarter one of 2020, compared to EGP 28,509,560 achieved in the prior-year period.
ATAQA is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture of reinforced steel bars according to Egyptian and international standards in different sizes and thicknesses.
