EGYFERT loss shrinks

ArabFinance: Samad Misr - EGYFERT reported a 44% Year on Year decline in its consolidated net loss in the first nine months of 2020, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Consolidated net loss before minority interest stood at EGP 1,177,823 in the January-September period of 2020, compared to EGP 2,093,673 achieved in the prior-year period.

Standalone net loss reached EGP 872,080 in the January-September period of 2020, a 53% decrease from EGP 1,881,740 posted in the corresponding period a year earlier.

The company earlier canceled the profit distribution for 2019.

EGYFERT is an Egypt-based shareholding company engaged in the agricultural products trading and distributing sector. It is specialized in export, import, and general trading of different types of agricultural fertilizers, chemicals, and other related products, as well as investing in other companies in the same field.
