Goldentex widens loss

ArabFinance: Golden Textiles and Clothes Wool (Goldentex) (GTWL) incurred a consolidated net loss of EGP 30.47 million in 2020, compared to EGP 10.7 million in 2019, according to the company’s March 15th statement to the Egyptian Exchange.
Standalone net loss stood at EGP 30.12 million last year, compared to EGP 10.18 million in 2019.
During the first nine months of 2020, the listed company reported a 62% Year on Year increase in its consolidated net loss, suffering EGP 27.68 million.
Goldentex is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture of textile products. The company is involved in the processing and dyeing of wool, woolen blended synthetic fiber, and industrial yarn.
