EGYSTONE loss widens in FY 2020/2021

ArabFinanceEgypt Intercontinental for Granite and Marble (EGYSTONE) (MISR) incurred a net loss of EGP 445,773 in the fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

This marked a Year on Year rise of 576% from a net loss of EGP 65,903 incurred in the FY 2019/2020.

In 2019, the company narrowed net loss to EGP 774,822 in 2020, from EGP 1.43 million.

EGYSTONE is a subsidiary of Salama Group which was established over 40 years ago. The company operates within the materials sector, focusing on construction materials, in addition to the supply and installation of all types of granite and general contracting.
