Mohandes Insurance posts drop in FY 2020/2021 profits

ArabFinance: Mohandes Insurance (MOIN) reported a consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company of EGP 124.29 million in fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, compared to profits of EGP 149.56 million in FY 2019/2020, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Earning per share (EPS) stood at EGP 1.18 in the fiscal year ended June 30th, 2021, down from EPS of EGP 1.53 in FY 2019/2020.
Meanwhile, the company posted a standalone net profit after tax of EGP 88.15 million in FY 2020/2021, compared to profits of EGP 112.28 million in FY 2019/2020.
Mohandes Insurance is an Egypt-based company that offers life and non-life insurance, and reinsurance products and services. Its products and services portfolio fall into two main insurance segments, namely individual insurance and property insurance.
