Middle Egypt Flour Mills reports growth in FY 2020/2021 profits; board proposes cash dividends

ArabFinance: Middle Egypt Flour Mills Company (CEFM) reported a net profit of EGP 103.41 million for fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, up from EGP 98.60 million in FY 2019/2020, according to the company’s financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Earning per share amounted to EGP 4.04 in FY 2020/2021, compared to EPS of EGP 3.71 in FY 2019/2020.

The company’s revenue reached EGP 540.64 million in the fiscal year ended June 30th, 2021, down from revenues of EGP 550.46 million in FY 2019/2020.

In a different context, the company's board of directors proposed cash dividends distribution worth a total of EGP 47.849 million, equivalent to EGP 3.25 per share, according to a separate statement.

Middle Egypt Flour Mills, a member of the Holding Company for Food Industries, is engaged in the manufacture, trade, import, export, packaging, warehousing, and distribution of grains and related products.
