Gemma turns profitable in 9 months

ArabFinance:  El Ezz Porcelain (Gemma) (ECAP) posted a net profit of EGP 83.14 million during the first nine months of 2021, against a net loss of EGP 29.3 million in the same period of 2020, according to the company’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange.

It is worth noting that the company generated revenues worth EGP 357.8 million for the period ended September 30th 2021, an increase of 31%, when compared to the same period of 2020.

During the first half of 2021, the company posted a net profit of EGP 52.11 million, versus a net loss of EGP 20.98 million in the corresponding period a year ago.

Established in 1989, Gemma has become the leading manufacturer of high-end Ceramic and Porcelain tiles in Egypt and the Middle East.
