Arab Cotton Ginning cuts consolidated losses in 3 months

ArabFinance: Arab Cotton Ginning Company (ACGC) incurred a consolidated net loss after tax of EGP 437,000 in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, down by 91% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 4.71 million, according to the unaudited consolidated financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company generated a revenue of EGP 226.66 million in the July-September period of FY 2021/2022, down by 7% from EGP 245.17 million in the same period of FY 202/2021.

ACGC is an Egypt-based company active in the textiles and clothing industry sector. The company is engaged in the cotton ginning, as well as trading of its products domestically and internationally.
