Arabian Cement’s exports up 49% in 10 months

ArabFinanceArabian Cement Company’s (ARCC) exports grew by 49% year-on-year (YoY) during the period from January until October 2021, the company’s CEO Sergio Alcantarilla told Al Mal Newspaper.

The company exported all its products during the 10-month period to Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Spain, and the US, Alcantarilla revealed.

Moreover, Arabian Cement has recently submitted a request to the government to convert the company’s operations gas power due to the increase in global coal prices, he said.

It is worth noting that Arabian Cement suffered a consolidated net loss of EGP 23.21 million during the first nine months of 2021, compared to EGP 39.77 million in the same period of 2020.

Arabian Cement is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture of cement and concrete. Its products include clinker and ready-mix concrete, in addition to Al Mosalah, Al Tahrir, and El Sadd cement.
