Nile Pharma reports 7.5% profit increase in 6 months

ArabFinance: El Nile Company for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (Nile Pharma) (NIPH) reported a 7.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The company has recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 42.052 million in the July-December period of 2021, compared to a profit of EGP 39.12 million in the FY-ago period.
Revenues rose by 7.9% to EGP 440.73 million in the six-month period ended December 2021, from EGP 408.32 million in the prior-year period.
Nile Pharma manufactures and markets pharmaceuticals, various types of medical materials, chemical products, and cosmetics, as well as surgical threads and medical solutions.
