Middle Egypt Flour Mills reports 2.5% profit increase in H1 FY 2021/2022

ArabFinanceMiddle Egypt Flour Mills Company (CEFM) reported a 2.48% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the company’s unaudited financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Net profit after tax stood at EGP 48.67 million in H1 FY 2021/2022, compared to a profit of EGP 47.50 million in H1 FY 2020/2021.

The company also generated a revenue of EGP 258.47 million in the six-month period ended December 31st 2021, up by 1.8% YoY from EGP 253.90 million.

Middle Egypt Flour Mills, a member of the Holding Company for Food Industries, is engaged in the manufacture, trade, import, export, packaging, warehousing, and distribution of grains and related products.
