ArabFinance: Egyptian Satellites (NileSat) (EGSA) reported a 9.97% year-on-year (YoY) drop in net profit after tax for the full-year 2021, according to the company’s unaudited financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Net profit after tax amounted to $30.75 million in 2021, down from $34.15 million in 2020.
Moreover, the company’s revenue fell by 10.67% YoY to $111.76 million in 2021, from EGP 125.10 million.
NileSat is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that offers services related to satellite radio and television broadcasting, in addition to the broadband internet.
The company has a booking center that provides a range of services including satellite newsgathering as well as feed and turnaround services, in addition to a training center.
