Ezz Steel raises prices EGP 1.5K/ton

ArabFinance: Ezz Steel (ESRS) increased steel prices by EGP 1,500 per ton which is the second increase in a week, according to Amwal Al Ghad.
Under the new pricing, a ton of steel will cost EGP 17,000 as of Thursday, March 10th.
In a similar vein, Egypt’s metal exports surged 89% year-on-year (YoY) to $3.4 billion in 2021. Iron and steel exports jumped 145% to $1.78 billion in 2021, from $728 million in 2020.
