Arab Drug posts 14% YoY profit decline in 9 months

ArabFinanceArab Drug Company (ADCI) posted a 14% year-on-year decrease in net profit before tax for the first nine months of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the company’s financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Net profit before tax stood at EGP 90.097 million during the period from July 2021 until March 2022, compared to a profit of EGP 104.808 million in the same period of FY 2020/2021.

Moreover, the company generated a net sale of EGP 415.63 million in the nine-month period ended March 31st 2022, compared to EGP 420.13 million in the same period of FY 2020/2021.

Arab Drug is an Egypt-based company engaged in the pharmaceutical sector. The company focuses on the manufacture, packaging, and distribution of pharmaceutical products as well as chemical solutions for human and veterinary use.
