TAMEER’s consolidated profit drops 77.7% YoY in 2021

ArabFinance: Development and Engineering Consultants (TAMEER) (DAPH) posted a 77.76% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company for the full year ended December 31st 2021, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company recorded a consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company of EGP 9.64 million in 2021, down from EGP 43.35 million in 2020.

Consolidated operating revenue fell to EGP 46.50 million last year from EGP 131.79 million in 2020.

Meanwhile, the company’s standalone net profit after tax amounted to EGP 10.94 million in 2021, slightly down from EGP 11.65 million in 2020.

In the first half (H1) of 2021, TAMEER turned to profitability, with a net profit attributable to the parent company of EGP 10.73 million, versus a net loss before minority interest of EGP 2.34 million in H1 2020.

Established in 1954 and listed on the EGX in 1996, TAMEER operates within the capital goods sector focusing on construction and engineering.
