ArabFinance: Egyptian Satellites (NileSat) (EGSA) is set to pay cash dividends worth $0.45 per share (EGP 8.252) to shareholders as of April 21st, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Shareholders of record date on April 18th will be eligible to receive the dividends.
This came in line with the decisions of the company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM), which was held on March 30th, on the approval of the board of directors’ proposal to distribute cash dividends worth $16.79 million for the full year ended December 31st 2021.
The company previously reported a 9.97% drop in net profit after tax for 2021, recording $30.75 million, as compared to $34.15 million in 2020.
NileSat is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that offers services related to satellite radio and television broadcasting, in addition to broadband internet.
The company has a booking center that provides a range of services including satellite news gathering as well as feed and turnaround services, in addition to a training center.
