Misr Chemical Industries’ profits rise 38% YoY in 9 months

ArabFinance: Misr Chemical Industries Company (MICH) has reported a 38% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit after tax in the first nine months of the fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, recording EGP 148.399 million, according to financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on April 28th.
It is worth mentioning that the company had achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 107.55 million in the nine-month period of FY 2020/2021.
Revenue grew 12% YoY to EGP 399.097 million during the period from July 1st 2021 until March 31st 2022, as compared to EGP 356.015 million in the same period in the prior FY.
Misr Chemical Industries owns a manufacturing plant that produces a range of chemical products including liquid caustic soda, caustic soda flakes, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid, and bleaching powder.
