Wadi Kom Ombo’s profits shrink 28.5% YoY in 9 months

Arab FinanceWadi Kom Ombo for Land Reclamation Company (WKOL) has reported a 28.52% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit after tax during the nine-period period ended March 31st, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 29th.

The company achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 13.26 million in the first nine months of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, compared to EGP 18.55 million in the same period in FY 2020/2021.

Revenue declined to EGP 78.294 million at the end of March 2022 from EGP 90.308 million in the year-ago period.

Wadi Kom Ombo is an Egypt-based company that is engaged in the real estate development sector.

The company is involved in land reclamation, real estate development, and general contracting services, such activities as sale and purchase of land for building and agriculture, and operates it for its own account and third parties.
