General Company for Silos posts 8.4% YoY profit increase in FY 2021/2022

Arab Finance: General Company for Silos and Storage (GSSC) recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 113.61 million in fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, up by 8.42% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 104.78 million, according to the financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 1st.
On the other hand, the company’s revenues fell by 10.56% to EGP 815.46 million in FY 2021/2022, versus EGP 911.73 million in FY 2020/2021.
GCSS is an Egypt-based company that operates in the food processing industry sector, particularly in the manufacture, trade, import, export, storage, package, and distribution of different types of grain and its derivatives, foodstuff, and yeast, as well as animal feed and its components.
