Rakta turns to a profit in FY 2021/2022

Arab Finance: General Company for Paper Industry (Rakta) (RAKT) has turned profitable during fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the unaudited financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 7th.

The company has recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 363.173 million in the 12-month period ended June 30th, compared to a net loss of EGP 98.277 million in the FY ago.

Revenues dropped to EGP 399,000in FY 2021/2022 from EGP 10.172 million in FY 2020/2021

Rakta is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the production and distribution of printing and wrings papers, and multi-layered duplexes carton papers.
