Arab Finance: Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) posted a 32.91% year-on-year surge in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the period ended June 30th, according to financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.
The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interest reached EGP 104.27 million at the end of June, up from EGP 78.451 million the year before.
Consolidated sales soared to EGP 306.982 million in the period ended June 30th from EGP 280.658 million during the same period a year earlier.
Moreover, the company’s standalone net profit after tax reached EGP 100.6 million at the end of June, up from EGP 87.552 million the year before.
EMPC is an Egypt-based company engaged in the media sector. The company provides and leases television, cinema, and media production tools and complementary services to others, as well as produces cultural, drama, and kids shows.
